Getting here

The Christmas Steps Arts Quarter is right in the heart of the city.

We are easily connected to the train station by bus or a very short taxi ride. We are very easy to get to from motorways and have car parks very close to hand.

By Bus

The Bus Station is a short walk from the Colston Tower and several local bus services set down in the center. The no. 99 bus stops on Park Row, just a couple of minutes walk from the area and several more stop at the bottom of Christmas Steps themselves.

By Car

From the M4 East - At Junction 19 join the M32 to Bristol City Centre. The motorway at Junction 3 becomes Newfoundland Street. Keep in the right hand lane, follow signs for The Centre and Clifton, bearing right at the traffic light junction with Bond Street. Take the centre lane and the second exit at the next roundabout, passing the Bus Station on the left. Keeping to the left-hand lane turn left and down hill to Colston Street.

From the M4 West- Exit Junction 22 and join the M5 Southbound and exit at Junction 19. Follow the M5 South route. Follow directions bellow.

From the M5 South - Exit Junction 19, and join the A369 to Bristol and follow the signposts to Bristol City Centre. Following the Hotwell Road, pass the S.S Great Britain on the right, take the third exit at the roundabout, into Anchor Road, and keep to the right hand lane. At the traffic lights bear right, then keep to the left hand lane and proceed straight on at the next traffic lights. Turn left into Colston Street at the next set of traffic lights.

From the M5 North - exit at Junction 17 and join the A4018 to Bristol and follow the signposts to the City Centre. Passing the Wills Tower on the left hand side, keep in the left hand lane and proceed straight on at the traffic lights into Park Row. Take the second right into Lower Park Row after the multistorey car park (before the next set of traffic lights) and then turn right onto Colston Street, to the Colston Tower.

Parking

There is plenty of short-term and metred parking along the adjacent roads and a multi-storey carpark on Trenchard Street with exits on Park Row.

Park and Ride

There are four different Park and Ride located on the outskirts of Bristol.

North: A4 Portway - (Service 902)
South: A4 Bath Road (Service 904)
East: UWE Frenchay (Service 984)
West: Long Ashton (Service 903)

By Rail

Travel to Bristol Temple Meads station and take a taxi or bus - services 8 or 9 travel regularly from the station to the Centre and stop opposite Colston Tower.
